Applehanz Roofing & Guttering

Applehanz did great on the roof. They left nails in the old gutters (to be replaced a week later), all around the house, in the driveway, in fact, my husband was walking out in the middle of the yard and ended up with a roofing nail going through his shoe. Thank God it didn't break skin. There was only one person on the crew that spoke VERY broken English. Trying to find that person, was NOT a happening thing. Ugh.

My husband had explained to the "owner/foreman", and showed him a phlange in the back that needed replacing. He said he'd get it taken care of. Roof has been replaced, guttering has been replaced, (and more nails all over), but the old messed up phlange is still there. My husband called the company. The piece is in the warehouse, it'll be taken care of sometime. It shouldn't take 3 appointments and more nails in the yard and driveway.

We recently had Appelhanz Roofing install a new roof and guttering due to storm/wind damage we had back in December 2021. We worked with Luke who reviewed the damage and quoting us a price. Once we decided to go with Appelhanz, we worked with Luke on organizing and setting up a date to tear down our original roof and replace it. Luke did an amazing job.

We then worked with Dave and his crew on doing the work on replacing the roof. His crew did a great job on replacing the roof. They were on time and worked to complete the job and cleaning up the work site. We were very impressed with the whole experience with Appelhanz Roofing Inc. We would recommend Appelhanz Roofing for anyone needing roofing work.

This company are now doing my neighbors roof they are about 10 feet away from our house their workers are rude and messy at least this crew they are using on this job. They threw their supplies against my house the workers blocked our whole front street instead of using the neighbors part of the street also blocking our mailbox they had loud music playing well into 9 pm when we asked for them to move their vehicles none of them spoke English or acted like they did not know English and a couple the men were being flirtatious I was surprised that a well known company have workers that act like that I would never use them and would not feel comfortable with them around my home also my neighbor to the south of me asked them not to block her mailbox and the one female they had working for them began speaking Spanish calling her names however the neighbor is also Hispanic and understood what she was saying a male worker then stepped in as well as my neighbors husband trying to get her to stop I usually do not make reviews or state my opinion but felt the need to let people know as this kind of thing should be reported

The team that was in meriden on May 4, was great. Worked in the rain the cool weather took a quick lunch and went back to work. Did awesome job clean up even the rut left in the yard was fix. AWESOME JOB TEAM.APPELHANZ

Can't speak highly enough Appelhanz Roofing. When we lost portions of our roof in that last bad storm, Matt Appelhanz had his crew out here putting a temporary cover on our roof the same day. Plus, he kept me informed on the status of our materials for the new roof. Hopefully, we won't have to do anything like this again for a long time but I know who I'm calling and recommending for all future roofing needs.

I always make a point to let someone know that they have done a good job but when it comes to the health of my family I'm gonna make it a point to let Applehanz roofing know they have not. This would be the 2nd home that we lived in that has been re roofed by this company The 1st time dealing with them it was awesome it was a pretty simple roof but nevertheless they did a great job Now when it comes to the house we live in now the roof had already been done prior to us About 9 months prior which means it's still under warranty according to their contract. Moving in There was no ventilation that was operable We had 2 Gable vents they were completely clogged and they installed 2 turbine vents.

The inside And all underneath this plywood is completely covered with mold and falling apart so what they did was they slapped a new stuff on top and call it A day. Now I am the one who is going to remove the new wood, the old broken moldy stuff and do it the way it should have been done in the first place. You guys probably have lots of work and I hope it continues to be that way for the sake of the families of your employees. My family is the reason I am writing this in the first place. I'll go with a company with integrity next time around god bless.

Great experience overall. They were in and out in 1 day. Luke made the bid, selection, planning and post work process smooth and worked with our insurance carrier. The only issues were they were a bit hard on our landscaping and we did have a bit of a mess in our attic storage space to clean up. No issue, just a head's up that it was going to get messy in there would've been helpful

Fantastic customer service. They replaced my roof in a single day and got me on the schedule weeks faster than the other roofing quotes I had. I also needed pictures for insurance purposes and they sent an employee just to take photos for me.

Appelhanz Roofing went above and beyond to provide service for us. They repaired some storm damaged shingles and did roof repair where needed for a very fair price a couple of years ago. More specifically, we put our house for sale on the market recently and they provided a proficient roof inspection. We had 1 shingle square that needed to be replaced from storm/wind damage and Bryan from Appelhanz had a roofer out within hours to fix/replace the square.

This was so important because we wanted our house on the market ASAP. Very prompt! Very professional! Excellent service!
