In 1955, Dan Burkleo started a construction company in Monterey, California that helped him provide a living for his wife, Jean, and their 6 children. As the economy and construction demands in the area changed, Dan changed with it, mastering trades from general construction to painting to roofing.

I have used Burkleo Roofing several times over the years. Recently, I called, and they responded within minutes, and sent someone out to check my roof the following day. They located several weak areas. The next day, two workmen arrived, and repaired the problem. They were efficient, and arrived on time. - This company went out of their way to help with this, since they were extremely busy due to expected rain. Burkleo Roofing came highly recommended by several friends in the know, once I knew that we should replace the roof and stop trying to just get by for a few more years. I talked with Bill last November and he told me he'd put us on the schedule for late this summer. He ended up calling with short notice once he had an unexpected availability, but that was fine, since his crew left no mess at all! Jesse came by with samples for us to choose a roof tile color, they handled the permit, repaired minor damage to the underlying wood, the price was very fair, the roof looks gorgeous, and we are very satisfied, start to finish!

I had some tile damaged from the storm. I have used this company before. They came right out, between storms and replaced it. They did a good job of matching a 40 yo roof, were neat and picked up the broken pieces and left the unused tile. A pleasure to deal with this company.

Did a great job replacing chimney flashing. Came out and gave me an estimate and explained the work that needed to be done. Did the job before the rain came. Would recommend.
