They were one of three estimates I got. Cheaper by a few thousand. Which makes them popular! I had to wait much longer then, but well worth it, the crew busted their butts & were done in a day. My house almost 2400 s/f. Even my neighbors commented they never seemed to take a break. I can vouch for that as I was home the whole time comforting my pets. Quite loud lol but yea new roof thank you

I was quite impressed with Greg's approach to a leak we had. He throughly explained the problem, but suggested trying something more simple without removing many tiles since he was reasonably sure where the source of the issue was and access was pretty direct. If indeed the problem persists as he said it might, we will certainly call Granite Basin back to investigate. Robert

Our experience was terrible with Granite Basin roofing. We needed all of our sky lights replaced, 10 in total. From the time of placing the order to the install it was almost 4 months, meanwhile our ceiling was getting more and more water damage. I called multiple times and they said one of the products was back ordered, on more than one occasion I'd call and leave a message with someone to be called back by the scheduler and never receive a call back.
Finally after two months of this I called and they said the products had come in, why didn't they call to schedule when the products came? I scheduled for a Thursday a week or so later for the install. The day before they were scheduled I received a call saying the manufacturer sent the wrong product, which could be true or maybe they ordered the wrong one?
A week or so later we received a call asking if we wanted the solar powered skylights instead of the electric ones, saying they are much better so we said sure. So over a month after the original install date we scheduled the install again. The motorized sky lights have the wrong trim/frame color, and apparently don't come any other color, which would have been nice to know before they were installed.
While installing one of them they nailed through the ceiling (so we could see the nails poking through inside), and would have kept going except we stopped them. They left them filthy and with plastic bits on them. So now I get to climb up a ladder to the roof to wash them, lucky I am physically able to do so, unlike most of the Prescott population.
They didn't leave the remotes for the skylights so we had to call and ask them to bring them back. Once we got them, one didn't work so we had to call them back again to look at it. When the man who I believe was the owner came back and got it fixed. My husband was asking some questions about how they worked and he said he wasn't familiar with the product.
The product they suggested and said was so much better. Overall the customer service sucked, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience to the ladies in the office, and the knowledge of the owner is questionable.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever come across! From the entitled women in the office to the owner that has no respect. Had an appointment set up for certain time because our dogs go crazy when someone is on roof.multiple calls to office relaying that info.owner decides to show up a day early on his own time and climbs on roof.dogs go crazy and overheat and break through screen.then again after multiple calls to office relaying how important it is to let us know when materials will be delivered a truck from Phoenix shows up out of the blue and tries to load.we sent them away and cancelled our contract with these guys.absolutely stay away from these guys

Highly recommend. I called GBR when I saw a new 6inch diameter water stain on ceiling. Greg climbed in attic, identified the stain was directly below a pipe that went out the roof, then got on the roof and inspected the pipe, took pics and showed that it needed to be resealed. He fixed it. Respectable and honest; fast, on the spot repair. Also, well mannered, professional, and easy to talk to, we chatted about schools are kids go to and such. I will definitely be calling GBR again.

I went with this roofing company because I had previously experienced a leak and another roofing company in Prescott told me I needed a new roof. I knew I was about seven years away from a new roof and they were mistakingmy gender for stupidity, so I called a second roofer. Granite Basin fixed the leak for $150. Fast forward about five years and a hail storm came through and seriously damaged my roof. I knew which company to call. Granite Basin installed a beautiful new roof for me and also refaced my chimney. We're very happy.

The guy sent to us from Granite Mountain roofing was very nice, but after gaining a few more opinions, we believe he totally misdiagnosed our roofing issue. We just hired Legacy roofing and believe they have resolved a flashing issue that had caused our facia to rot out. We are very grateful for free estimates. Thank you.

This guy is a joke I was a licensed general contractor since 1978 He expects to get paid on a terrible tarp job The insurance company went out and took pictures of his tarp job blowing in wind and crying he didn't get paid Then enters in a contract to do a 5k job for 7k and two weeks later after the job was to be completed he canceled out Now home owner has drywall damage from his improper tarping I'll see him in court and file complaints his license I wouldn't recommend this clown to no one

After a less than ethical roofing company quoted me $9500 for a NEW roof and I had an appraiser look at it I had Greg come out and look at it. He said that it had at least 6-12 years left and there were NO repairs needed at all! I was very impressed by his honesty, ethical business practice and punctuality. I wish I needed a roofer! Greg would be my #1 choice!

We had two solar tubes put into our home over the past week. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Granite Basin Roofing, what a superlative job done by professional workers and management. The owner came to our home to advise us on placement of the solar tubes for the greatest effect and amount of light. We went with his advise, since he is the professional and what a wonderful surprise.
One area is so well lit during the day I keep going to the back of the house to turn the lights off. The whole kitchen is lit, I can finally see what I am preparing without turning on lights. This company has also done a number of repairs to our roof due to storm damage over the past 3 years and again, there work has always been terrific. We had a leak from the monsoons which was hard to diagnose due to the house architecture, Granite Basin was there for us all the way! Thanks Granite Basin, we greatly appreciate your work ethic and professionalism!
