Herbert Roofing & Insulation

Herbert Roofing insulated our attic space, both home and garage. The crew were very friendly and professional. They showed me everything they did, asked questions when needed, and made sure I was pleased before they left. All trash and debris was swept up and taken away. We were very pleased with the quality and service, not to mention the instant "warmer feeling " I. The house. Our insulation was added in the middle of the winter and I could see the savings on consumers energy app right away. Job well done!

Critical: Professionalism, Value Called to receive a quote on roof and a skylight, was told they don't do "skylights" despite seeing it in almost every review on here and then also told me that they don't do repair work? Just entire replacements? I guess some elderly person might fall for being forced into a $20,000 repair. but I won't

The original crew that showed up did not speak English except for one person. They took the skylight out by cutting the drywall that goes into a groove in the window. When they put the new skylight in there was a large gap where the drywall had been cut out. I ended up repairing it myself. They were supposed to install a vent for the bathroom fan of which did not get installed until later by removing some of the new shingles.

Some of the work that was done by the original crew had to be repaired by a second crew. The second crew had to remove some of the roof boards from old damage, change some of the soffit vents that were installed improperly, and replace fascia boards. I went with this company because they are local. I know it is hard to get good help these days, but this was prior to COVID by a couple of years.

Hi i just had a new roof installed by Herbert and they did great job. Mark was awesome as was Junior and his crew.they cleaned up very well too, which some places leave ton's of nails.only concern if any was with service and prior to installation had a leak and the gentleman didn't arrive as planned to patch before new roof. I did let Mark know.that was only issue. I would recommend Herbert to anyone.

We were very happy with the job, the performance of the workers and their timely production. Would have liked a heads up that some workers did not speak English well, but all worked out great. Our condo association hired Herbert Roofing to install a new roof and solar tunnel lights. The roof is beautiful and done in a very timely fashion. They worked well with our insurance company also. We had an issue with the solar lights. Herbert Roofing came back to make a needed change so that now we are pleased with both the roof and lights.

I scheduled a consult and estimate from them which went as planned on time. They were unable to do the repair at that time and said they would come back later in the week to complete it. No one called, no one showed up. One week later, I called their office to ask if they were coming back out. I was told they were unable due to "something beyond their control." This happens so I asked to book another day and time, which they did. Again, no one showed up, no one called.

We recently contracted with Herbert Roofing to replace the original roof on our 2300 sq ft 2-story home built in 1982, including the replacement of an original master bathroom skylight. Our roofline includes a variety of angles and pitches, including an attached garage and two dormers. From our initial consultation with our salesperson, to our occasional contacts with their office staff, to the conduct of their site work crew, to their project manager who oversaw the quality of our installation, we were very pleased with and confident in our experience.

The wide range of options we were presented with allowed us to select just the right materials and design for our new roof. We felt added confidence in knowing that the Herbert installation team is certified by the shingle manufacturers they feature. The project scheduler was very flexible with us in timing the work, rescheduling us from summer to fall when we encountered a conflict on our end.

Over the two days of the installation, the work crew was timely, courteous, safe, efficient, and considerate of our property, and did an excellent job on the installation and cleanup. Special thanks to Marco (Crew leader?) for his attention to our questions and any concerns, and conveying them to the crew. Matt (Project Mgr) consulted with us to ensure the work was completed to our satisfaction.

When we had one minor punch-list item needing attention, Matt personally returned within 48 hours to rectify it. While other roofing companies in our area might've offered a lower cost or faster installation, Herbert was the most responsive to our inquiries (an important detail during a time of Covid-induced project delays), and we feel we received good value, quality materials, and skilled workmanship for our investment. Overall, we're very satisfied with the service provided by the Herbert team, and would recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement.

Excellent company! Initial visit to prepare estimate the gentleman was very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Installation day, the crew was friendly and amazingly fast! Unfortunately, it started to rain so it cut the day short, but they were able to get in 4 hrs during which they completely removed old roof, added ice shield covering entire house and garage and laid shingles on entire back side of house.

They arrived the next day to continue and ended up finishing everything within 5 hrs! We love our new roof and we have told everyone we know about this wonderful company. Just the other day we received a thank you gift from them! We were so surprised, this is something we have never had happen and we are doing a COMPLETE RENOVATION of our home (inside and out).

As you can imagine we have been dealing with many companies and our experience withHerbert Roofing surpasses every single one by a mile. We'd like to say bravo and Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!

Liked the idea of getting multiple estimates to replace shingles. Had shingles replaced in about six hours. Cleaned up all old roofing debris when work was finished. Would use Herbert Roofing in the future if needed. Services: Roof inspection, Skylight installation, Roof repair

The saying that you get what you pay for is true. When it comes to roofing, it couldn't be more so! After reviewing literally dozens of roofing companies, and having many come out to quote, my wife and I decided to go with Herbert Roofing. The sales staff was friendly, on time and responsive to questions. Bob (our sales guy) knew his product and was able to answer my questions or find the answer when he didn't know it.

The crew was really amazing. They worked hard and had my roof finished in 2 days! They kept me up to speed with regards to what they were doing and even pleasantly dealt with my intrusions to take pictures and ask questions throughout the entire process. Herbert Roofing wasn't the cheapest roofer, but they made me feel like part of the process, provided an amazing product and warranty as well as showed professionalism throughout the entire job.
