From the day Chris came to give us an estimate and discuss preferences, to the men who installed the new roof, and the men who installed the new gutter system.we have only praise for their workmanship. We would highly recommend this company. When the job was completed, other than a new roof and gutters, you would not have known they were here. The grounds were completely clean of debris.no damage to bushes and shrubs. You won't go wrrong with Alte Roofing.

Very professional. Great customer service as they took the time to answer all of our questions, explain and show us the products, and even came back the day after the roof was complete do ensure we were happy and complete an addional sweep of our property for nails and other roof debris. Chris was a big help in guiding us in the right direction on what we needed to have done. He offered us different options ( like color of shingles, ect.). I think that the important thing is he went over the whole process with us. When they would contact us, when they were coming up to the schedule for the day the work was to be done. I met Logan who introduced himself to us the day of the job, and let me know of the whole process. Doing the job, and the cleanup, and dumpster removal.

The whole team (from workers to office staff) is very friendly, professional, and helpful. They show up when they say they will, kept to the time frame agreed upon, and the work was perfection (replaced gutters and fascia; repaired rotted roof). Alte Roofing was professional from start to finish. Chris explained what we could expect with a project of this size and spent time answering all of our questions, making sure we were comfortable. Alte came as a recommendation to us. "They fixed a leak for us no other roofer could find, " I was told. Sadly, I had already found my leak. I had leaky skylights on one part of our home that has many little roofs over several additions. Alte didn't try to oversell me. Once contract was signed, I was kept informed of their schedule. They were always prompt and completed the work in one day.

The roofers didn't take a break because they were concerned about rain predicted for the next day (which happened, beading beautifully on the newly installed skylights). The carpenters doing inside finishing work were similarly prompt, hard-working, and efficient. We have a 7 ft Steinway piano living under the skylights, and as part of the deal three young men in the Alte management team moved the piano out of the way on the day of the roof job and returned to put the piano back in place after the inside finishing was complete. Cheerful, efficient, thorough, and always professional. And tolerant of our "piano needs to come over an inch this way. no, too far." We whole-heartedly recommend them.

Replacing an entire roof is a huge investment so we've been putting it off for some time. The roofers had to move several items around our house to ensure they didn't damage our property and when they were done, the items were back to where they found them and the roofing debris was entirely cleaned up. I hired Jeff to do her gutters when we first moved in and I wanted to go with a local company that can do a nice job fast. I paid him around $3000 to install new gutters and guards all around my home. Fast forward less than a year later, a branch fell on my roof ripping a 3 foot portion of gutter off. So my first move is to call Jeff since he installed it. However, not only did Jeff refused to send someone out to assess the damage and give me a fair price, he said it was too small of a job and not worth his time. Don't bother giving him your money because that is all he wants.

He does not care about the customer. I wish I could rewind time and get my gutters installed from someone else who cares. Also to respond to Jeff's comment that they had asked me to send them a picture of the damage, I did and that is when I received the voicemail that he couldn't possibly replace just 3 feet of my damaged gutter but needed to replace the full 6 feet. However, after stating that he concluded that kind of work isn't worth his busy time and that I should just try and call another gutter company. It's a shame that the company that installed the gutters won't even come back out to repair it even when I "played ball" and send pictures of the damage as requested and THEN lied about it on Yelp to combat my review and protect his precious business. NEVER USE JEFF FOR ROOFING OR GUTTER OR SIDING NEEDS!

Had them out for an estimate on my 2200SF ranch. I knew I was in trouble when the salesman started his iPad presentation. The estimate was for $41,000 but if I signed right then the price would be $37,000. I told him I was going to get 2 more estimates. Suddenly he told me if they took pictures of the roof and used it in their advertising the price would be $32,000.

At that point I knew I would never use them. These are old schemes for selling siding to the unsuspecting. The next two estimates I got were $16,000 and $17,000. Both roofers told me they had bid against Alte Jr for other jobs and were approximately half the price.

Another satisfied customer! Great job at a great price. The installers were quick, respectful and very professional. I would highly recommend Jeff Alte Jr Contracting.

Jeff Alte Jr. Roofing installed our new roof a couple of months ago. He came to give us an estimate and was very nice and professional. He did not try and sell us anything we didn't need, and his pricing was fair. His crew showed up on the day scheduled at the time they were expected, and did an excellent job. Everyone from start to finish was friendly and helpful.

This roofing company is listed on GAF's website as a master installer of their products, and you really can't do better than GAF products. They even offer an extended warranty above and beyond what the manufacturer offers. Our roof looks amazing and we're finding that it has reduced some of the noise that we used to hear, and the ridge lines they installed eliminate the need for the noisy attic fan we had.

The crew was very clean and left no trash behind. We watched them go through our yard with the large magnet to ensure no nails would be left behind. Overall a great experience and we would certainly recommend them to any and all of our friends and family.

Quality of work is above most. Job was finished on time and cleaned up. Done in 3 days and roof looks fantastic great curb appeal. Would recommend to anyone who needs a new roof. By far the best.

Just had the worst experience with the a guy named Kurt who basically told me to F off. It was a simple roof job who he was not interested in helping give me a quote. He was basically pissed his boss made him drive out on a Saturday and come to realize his boss did the same house quote a year ago. And why is that my problem? You should never treat people / clients this way. Not cool. Don't bother working with this company because they do not know how to treat clients or work professionally.

Estimate was provided by Jeff the same day. He provided a lot of information and went over all the details of what was going to be done. I was given an estimated start date for the job. The workers showed up on the day they were supposed to. The entire job went extremely well and they did a thorough clean up when they were done. I would definitely use Jeff Alte Jr Roofing in the future.

I have really been dreading getting a new roof for the last few years. We had some leaks, so it had to be done. I was not looking forward to spending a lot money and going through a lot of upset. Using Jeff Alte Jr was the smartest thing I did in this process. I called Jeff and he came out and looked at my roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable and he has years of experience.

Many of my friends have used him and they all sing his praises. We discussed some of the problem areas and Jeff had the solutions. A few days later, we went to his office in Hackettstown to pick out shingles and gutters. Kathy, the person in the office, was terrific. She was genuinely trying to find the roof that would serve our purposes. No high-pressure.

She gave me the addresses of people who have the same roof we were considering, so we could drive by and evaluate. The next parts of the project also went smoothly. The material was dropped off. The roofers showed up at 7.30 the next morning and worked until evening. They cleaned up before they left so everything was neat and orderly for them the next morning. Loved it.

Next day, they were here early and completed by late afternoon. There were 6 of them. They were friendly, courteous and very conscientious. They were easy to have around the house. When they left, everything was as it should be. They must have walked around my house with the large handheld magnets a hundred times to insure they got all the nails off the ground. Gutter people showed up the next day.

Perfect execution. Very professional. Very courteous. They wanted me to be happy with their work, which I appreciated. Jeff came by for the final inspection and looked over the work. It was important that I was a satisfied customer. This could not have gone any better.
