Kirkwood Roofing

We had a roof installed in 2013 & have had some issues with leaks & water build up. I started calling in the spring of 2021 where I fell upon deaf ears. Fast forward to spring of this year all of my calls were directed to Frieda, then Darren, then back to Freida, whom I have spoken to many of times & had promises that someone would come out to look at my roof.

This business has had good reviews over the years with compliments going out to Joe the owner. Sadly I'm told Joe has had health issues & been in Hospice for over a year, but everyone is trying to keep up the business using his good name. Right, maybe by booking sales, but what this has boiled down to is, they are interested in new business using his positive reviews, but will not honor or respond to any warranty concerns.

I normally don't write negative reviews, especially for small businesses but after waiting for over a year, I think the horse has left the barn. I guess warranties mean nothing now a days. Regretfully

I called this company to get a quote for a gutter replacement. They called back in a timely manner, gave me a quote and date to complete the work. Unfortunately that's where it all ends. Kirkwood roofing NEVER did the work. I called to ask about what happened and if there was an update on when they would come to complete the work. I called for 3 weeks and I received nothing from them.

I received no explanations at all ever. There isn't anyone I could get ahold of as they use an answering service so I couldn't even speak to an employee for kirkwood roofing.

If you are an older person on a fixed income and really want to get ripped off contact kirkwood roofing for half of your needs screwing you and pocketing the insurance, nothing but a rip off company, I will make sure as many people hear this as possible

Must be doing well to never show for an evaluation. Don't waste your time. Two online requests and one phone call to no avail. Disappointing for sure.

I called Kirkwood Roofing after I experienced some roof damage due to high winds. It was about 4:00 the day before Thanksgiving. The forecast was calling for a little rain the next three days, and I was in a bind because of the holiday weekend. Joe, the owner, called me and said he could get someone out there for me before dark. Within 20 minutes or so, they showed up and replaced some shingles.

I was impressed and super satisfied with their level of service and response time. I've never had to call a roofing company before but I know just who to call now! Thanks Joe and thanks Kirkwood Roofing.

There are some dishonest people out there, and this company is not one of them. Kirkwood Roofing has replaced partial and whole roofs for friends and family of mine for years! They are honest, on time, cleanup after they are finished and always stand behind their work every time. I would trust this company with the keys to my house any day of the week. My only complaint is that there are only 5 stars I can give here.

Guess the guy fixed our roof just fine, but he helped himself to a package that was sitting on our front porch for his trouble. When my husband called to inquire about a possible misunderstanding, the receptionist told us the manager wasn't in their office and she didn't know when they would be back. Never offered to take our number and have them reach out to us. Called back again and spoke to the manager who wasn't helpful or apologetic.

I'm not sure if they background check the people they choose to employ, but the experience in my opinion was very unprofessional and wasn't handled in a way you would expect a reputable company to respond. Sharing our experience here so that other people aren't inconvenienced in the same way.

Joe assisted my husband with certifying his roof prior to purchasing his home, great deal, for Joe was able to point out issues and got the mortgage company to certify and refund us. Thank you for helping with our roof.

These guys are amazing! I called to let them know I was having squirrel issues on my roof and possibly attic. they were at my house and on my roof with in hours. I was out of town and they called and sent me pictures of the damages. It was all repaired (attic fan, roof, etc) before we returned on Sunday! They finished the repairs on a Sunday morning! Highly recommend.

Joe and his team from Kirkwood Roofing came out right after a hail storm. They were amazing. They took my insurance information and did most of the work from that point forward. I will not only use them again, but I've referred them to many of my friends and neighbors. Solid work. Honest. Dependable. Good people. What more can you want and receive in a small business today? I highly recommend their services!

I'm very disappointed with this company. Dishonest. The guy name Joe is so unprofessional. I asked him when you come out can you call me 30 minutes in advance. Next day, he came without letting me know in advance. I still apologize to him and ask him to wait for me 15 minutes to get to the property. He say ok and then I got to the property he left.

I call him and he didn't respond my call at all! I feel if he busy he just schedule me another day instead made me drive there and left without saying anything! I hope if someone choose this company for your project, please consider how honest and professional they are!

I had new roof installed by Kirkwood Roofing ten years ago. Our seasonal weather is hard on roofs and it started to leak in August. I set up an appointment with Joe to inspect the roof for storm damage and to determine the source of the leak. He never showed and never called to cancel the appointment. Over the next week, I left messages at his office number (which seems to be an answering service) and on his cell phone. None of my calls were returned. I would advise you NOT to use this business if you expect service after the sale/installation.

I strongly warn against using this company. If you do use them for a roof, be sure to budget extra for a separate company to finish their work and to repair damage done to your house. Our roof was old and had a leak, so we contacted several roofing companies and decided to go with Zach at Kirkwood roofing because he gave a reasonable estimate and was recommended to us by a friend.

He forgot about the initial estimate appointment, so I called to reschedule, which I now regret. We paid to have our roof removed and a new roof installed. They did the work promptly, took two days. This was in December. In the Spring, once the ice had thawed and it began to rain, our ceiling collapsed and we found that our new roof had a massive new leak near the skylight.

I called Zach immediately. First he told me it must have been storm damage to our house. Then he refused to come and look at our roof until I filed a homeowners insurance claim. He made two appointments to look at our roof, which he then cancelled. It took about a month for his crew to come out, during which heavy rain was pouring into buckets in our crawlspace.

The last week of this month, I was literally calling him twice a day, to be sure he would actually come to our house and look at our roof. Finally, he said the skylight had sprung a leak, which had nothing to do with his work. He told me he would fix this for $200, but, probably due to miscommunication, his worker told me he'd fix it for $50.

So we paid the $50. This fixed the leak for about a week, but it returned shortly after. Realizing they were not interested in honoring their warranty on our roof, I contacted several other roofing companies. These other roofing companies all told us the skylight had been improperly installed by Kirkwood roofing. I paid $500 to have the skylight properly installed, which fixed the leak. We are now in the process of repairing our collapsed ceiling, which resulted from incompetent workmanship by this company.
