Storm damage

Storm damage

Cleaning up the mess following a severe wind or thunderstorm can be daunting. Often you are left without electricity, there may be large trees across your property, or even laying on your roof.

We work quickly to assess the situation. We remove any trees from the house, always inspecting the roof, and installing a tarp if necessary. We are aware that both you and your insurance company want to mitigate further damage.

Once the dust has settled we quickly get to work on assessing what home fixings and roof restorations need to be completed. Our estimate is given both to you, and your insurance firm.

Surviving storm damage is easier with a professional on your side.

Decks

Decks

Our experience of roofing, and our expertise in flat roofs makes us Connecticut's selection for roof top decks. We can install a roof top deck off of your master suite, or on top of a planned addition. We guarantee our roofs won't leak, and we guarantee you a well thought out roof top deck.

Flat roofs

Flat roofs

Following a rough winter we are often asked about roofing solutions for ice dam and leak prone areas. These spaces on a home are usually low pitch, with a rise run of 4 inches per every foot. While many roofing companies will suggest using an ice and water barrier on the entire portion of the roof, we use a different two part final solution.

With the installation of an EPDM roof you have the chance of adding thicker insulation board. Thicker insulation board enables your home to retain more heat in the winter. With less heat escaping through the roof, there will be less premature snow melting and refreezing. This lowers the potential for an ice dam to form. However, an EPDM system, if installed and maintained properly, will not leak even with 6 inches of standing water. We have installed EPDM rubber roofing on many homes in Connecticut, with many installations on low pitch roofs of cape and ranch style homes. These roofs are leak and ice dam free.
