I would give 10 Stars if I could. High quality shingles. Great selection of colors. Their service was outstanding. My roof looks amazing. Their cleanup was perfect. They went out of their way to put a couple patches on my roof on Saturday even though they were going to replace the roof in a couple of days in case of rain (which it did). I have a good sized roof and not only did they tear off and replace the old shingles.

They replaced all the vents, added 2 bathroom vents, installed a ridge vent, and put down a new ice dam barrier in 1 day. Amazing work! Honestly you can hire Murphy & Sons and kick your feet up and not worry about if you hired the right company. You did.

The crew showed up early to begin the work. They removed the roof on both the house and shed and had them completed by 1 pm the same day. I have used them twice now in the last 15 years and the quality of work and cleanup has been the same both times. Will use them again if I ever need a roof repaired. Sent an email for roof inspection recently from a wind storm on a Sunday. I knew I had shingles off. They answered my email Mon morning and was repaired same day. Pretty impressed

The best roofing company around! Chris spent many hours working with my insurance company to make sure my roof damage was taken care of the way it should be.the roof was put on In one day. the guys were very professional and it is very obvious that are very knowledgeable about what they are doing! They did a great job and my new roof looks amazing! I will never use any other roofing company they are truly THE BEST!

When our roof developed a leak, Murphy & Sons were quick to inspect and give their estimate. We scheduled the roof replacement for about a month later, and once work began it was finished within 8-10 hours spread across two days. The Murphy's were very responsive when I called for an appointment. I just prefer to use hometown companies who have established businesses who will be here. Chris gave me an estimate and then came out and met with my insurance adjuster to make sure they both saw the same damage. We have used Murphy previously and received very good service. After watching other companies in our neighborhood after the hail storm, it just confirmed that Murphy's have very good crews who do the work as if they also are doing family work. Hope we don't have any more storms but, if we need help, we will definitely call them back out.

I was in a bind, worried that my new roof would get rained on the up coming weekend. I spoke to Chris and explained my concerned and he worked his magic to make sure the roof was covered before the rain. Then, a few days later --- shingles were on and all done. Have had TWO roofs removed and new ones installed by Murphy Roofing! They are unbelievable in regards to quality of work, starting from the very beginning to the finish product! They take care to not damage your property and after they clean up, you don't even know they have been there including running a magnet over the yard to get any stray nail that might have found their way to the yard.

They also did a great job of installing new gutters, that were not installed correctly by another contractor a few years earlier. They DO QUALITY work! I know what quality is having been in the skilled trades for over 30 years as an Iron Worker here in Kansas City! Their Price was more then fair, and Chris is GREAT at arraigning and working with your insurance agent in regards to covering your loss! They showed up to replace gutters on my house. I had no knowledge of the date the work was to be done, considering i'd not even signed the contract yet! I was told once the contract was signed and summited a date would be set. I was awaken the very next day to a crew tearing my gutters off my house. I was put in a hard spot considering I was not yet ready to have the work done. I was only getting estimates for them to be replaced. I've only had the gutters up for 30 days and no problems so far.

Really nice and professional. I feel like they care about their family name/reputation. They've been working in this area for years which is a testament to good people, good service. Larry came out and I was very pleased with his professionalism.

Larry came over because we had a leak in our ceiling, and my pregnant wife was freaking out a bit. He spent about 45 minutes with me, but we couldn't find the source. He recommended that next time it rain, I go into the attic and mark the water spot. I did so, Larry returned a week later, and patched up the hole. The price was very reasonable and he was very professional and kind. I will use him again. Dan

I just tried to call this company, because I found a small online banner. Once the guy answered the phone, I wanted to verify that I had the correct company (because he answered so quickly that i couldnt understand him) and he IMMEDIATLY hung up. I was hoping it was an accident, because how freaking rude can you be.and he picked up and then hung up.

I work for an online advertising company, and I called from my work phone, so I am sure he thought i was trying to sell him something.but had he been polite enough to let me say "hello" even, he would have found out that I live in the same area he covers.and not only do I need a roof, but so does my grandmother, and the rental property that I own.

I will gladly hire someone else, at least I didnt have to deal with his utter disrespect in person. However, even if I had been trying to sell him some online coverage, there is absolutly no reason for anyone to be that rude. Perhaps if I had been rude to him, but just to hang up on anyone before you even know who they are is terrible. And now, because of his impatience and disrepect, I will be giving my thousands of dollars in roofing to a more respectable company.

I've worked with Murphy's twice now and I feel like I have a handle on how they operate. Both times they got the job done in time and on budget. They cleaned up after themselves too. I took away one star because I didn't know when to plan for them to show up. They surprised me both times.
