We went to Charles Papas because we heard they were very reliable. We ordered the sliding glass door with a bright brass handle. The door and installation was great. The door handle however, was nickel. The installer assured us that this wasn't a big deal and he could get the handle and put it on. Well this has been almost a year now and still no handle.
We have called Charles Papas several times and the excuse has always been that there is a supply issue due to Covid. I find it hard to believe that no one in this year's time has ordered a door with a bright brass handle. We were able to get a number from Papas for Sunrise door to see if we could see if we could get this problem resolved. We shouldn't have to resolve this problem ourselves. We are very disappointed with the service we received. We thought we had finally found a company that we could rely on and could recommend to others.

We had a sliding glass door installed in our dining room on to our deck a few weeks ago; from first point of contact all of our communication and correspondence was professional and friendly. You could tell the consultant and installers care about the end product as well as customer satisfaction - even during covid delays we received updates about our project. I would highly recommend this group for home remodeling!

We had been thinking about some home improvements for a while and considered going with other contractors. One of these other contractors was Lowe's and, when their sub-contractor came to the house to take measurements, his repetitive theme was how difficult his job was going to be because of the numerous challenges he faced due to the age (1954) of the house.
Another local remodeler was unable to perform our window work but still provided an estimate that exceeded what we eventually paid to Charles Pappas by 16%. We decided to go with Charles Pappas because my sister had a good experience with them previously. When they came to take measurements, not a peep was heard about how difficult the job was going to be.
We had some windows and entry doors replaced and had some flooring installed. Everyone we dealt with was professional and personable. We are very pleased with the work and feel it was very fairly-priced. We feel that Charles went beyond the norm to assist us in finding cost-savings. We are very happy that we chose Charles Pappas and recommend them without reservation.
