Besides the fact that Moss on your roof isn't the prettiest site in the world, there are a lot of other reasons why it shouldn't be there.
Clogged Gutters and Downspouts are pretty common in the North West. We may love our trees and forests but like many Portlandians, you may have tiny forests of your own growing out of your gutters and that is a big no no. These guys saved the day for me. We needed to have our windows washed before putting the house up for sale. We had hired a different crew, who "no-showed" on me twice. We were running out of time and I didn't trust the other guys to show up, so I called PDX Clean Kings with just 2 days left before the open house. They responded quickly and made it happen. The windows looked great. They were a very bright spot in a stressful week of coordinating other service providers. I would hire them again.

If you're reading this review, you probably have a mossy roof, that sounds pejorative :-. All kidding aside, we hired PDX Clean King to remove the moss on our house and garage, as well as, clean the gutters and lay down a treatment. I contacted them for an estimate and they got back to me pretty quickly considering this is a busy time for them.
They gave us an estimate and we scheduled a time. Worker arrived on time and worked very hard scraping the roof and garage, which is north facing and was covered in moss. The job was complete and the clean up was great. The price was fair and they did not upsell us. All & All, Yes I would hire this company again for sure. PS: It was raining the whole time and it didn't affect the quality of work one bit

We used this service 5 years ago, and sadly did not keep up with the moss on our roof. Now, it has become a much harder job than it had to be. It was super easy to make an appointment and the communication was good. Bo (Beau?) arrived on time and got right to work. It took him all day, but hopefully next year it won't be such a tough job. He was great - the moss is gone, he cleaned up all the mess, and washed the outside of all our windows! I couldn't be happier, money well spent.

Damn fine work. This is the second time we have used PDX Clean King and I cannot imagine using another service. We have a two story house and a garage with a room above it - the roof is quite steep. Bo showed up exactly on time and spent the entire day taking the moss off the roofs and washing all the windows. The quality and dedication of the work makes this company a bargain. i cannot recommend them highly enough.

We hired PDX Clean King to take over the gutter, downspout, roof and moss cleaning for our family rental properties, and they did an excellent job! We had been doing this work ourselves, but decided as we are getting older that it's time to find a professional licensed and bonded company to take over. I spent a lot of time reviewing and comparing companies before choosing Holland and his team, and I'm delighted to say we made the right choice. Ariel the office manager also worked closely with me to make sure everything was scheduled and executed as planned, which is very important when working with rental properties and tenants. I hired PDX Clean King to wash the windows in our two-story house as we were putting it on the market. Holland was very helpful over the phone and gave me a more-than-reasonable quote. I was in a different state and was not there to check their work, so I had to trust that they'd do a good job. They absolutely exceeded my expectations! The windows looked great in our listing photos! I have give a bonus shout out to the crew for coordinating with our realtor. There guys are awesome!

Holland and crew are fantastic. There were over for a roof and gutter cleaning and arrived on time while respecting all Covid safety precautions. After the crew left (it was pretty dark when they left so I didn't notice until the following morning) I noticed a detail I thought needed attention and Holland came right over and made the requested corrections.
He guided me on a thorough walk through afterward to be sure everything was to my exact expectations which of course it was. Communication from start to finish couldn't have been better and pricing is VERY reasonable. I will continue to use Holland for offered services.

I contacted Holland to do a moss removal job from my roof. He answered the phone right away, was super friendly, prompt, and informative. Got me a written estimate within hours. Scheduled and followed up with a reminder call. They arrived on time, and worked diligently all day. When I called to ask about some additional cleanup that needed to be done, they sent someone out right away, and did some additional window washing while they were here. Excellent customer service; very professional. Highly recommended.

Holland was professional and timely with all steps of the process from setting up the appointment, to checking on his crew, to collecting payment at the end after he saw that I was satisfied with the result. His crew member, Dan, was thorough, attentive to detail and even showed me the products that he used were earth-friendly. I cannot recommend this company more highly! If you have a mossy roof or need gutters cleaned, call them first!

Holland did an amazing window washing job, my place is sparkling! My windows have never looked better! And so glad I got a moss removal, Holland's methods are the best if you really want to prolong the life of your roof. We hired PDX Clean to power wash our patio. It was amazing! They did a great job, super fast to respond to email, quote price. I will for sure rehire them. We have a 9 month baby and just didn't have the band width to power wash ourselves, hiring PDX was totally the way to go and we are really happy to enjoy spring with a super clean deck!

I called PDX Clean King after finding them on Google and reading the awesome reviews. The reviews did not disappoint. Holland was able to get by and provide me with a quote to clean our roof within two days of my phone conversation with him. We accepted the quote and he immediately scheduled us. As this is a busy time of the year for roof cleanings, we were schedule a few weeks out which was fine.
I received a phone call the day before the work was to be done and Jake showed up as scheduled and on time. He immediately went to work and only stopped for a short lunch break before completing the job. After he was done, you couldn't even tell he had been here except to the awesomely immaculate roof he left behind! Jake even washed off our skylight! I will definitely be recommending them and will use them in the future. Awesome folks! Excellent communication and professional service!

Holland and his team are AMAZING! He was extremely responsive, kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, invoiced right away and sent a receipt right after. The work they did was amazing! Hand brushed the PACKED ON moss and treated our roof, gave us an update on the quality of the roof, cleaned our gutters, hauled away the remnants and washed our storm/outside windows on both the house and garage. They were timely, professional and on par if not a little more affordable than the other 2 companies I got quotes from. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Contacted them prior to coming to Portland to arrange window cleaning. They were responsive, confirmed appointment day prior and arrived at the agreed on time. I can't say enough great things about Holland & his team at PDX Clean King. They went beyond and above with everything they did. Customer service was some of the best I've had in a long time and the work was better than I expected. My house looked amazing when they left. Roof had zero moss, gutters were cleaned inside & out and windows never looked so good.
They also cleaned up every bit of mess and actually left my backyard looking better than it did before they arrived. Excited we found them and will definitely use them again.

They worked around crazy winter weather and were able to remove moss from our house and detached garage as well as clean out our gutters while we were out of town. Our gutters were super clogged and dripping all over our entryway, keeping us up at night. Holland was quick and professional with his responses setting up the appointment (initial quote, etc). I usually don't bother writing a review because I am too busy and have not been too impressed by any business to write a good review. But after I used PDX Clean King service I thought I should definitely write a nice review for their great work. Holland and his brother in law worked very hard to remove lots of moss from my roof and did excellent job.
They were very courteous and friendly and simply just nice people. They charged me the fair rate and I am very happy with their work. I highly recommend Holland and his team. Highly recommend the services of PDX Clean King. They provided a fast quote, clear communication and arrived promptly to clean some pretty filthy windows. Caution: they are in heavy demand in the summer and schedules book up quickly, so allow a few weeks to get on their calendar. It's well worth the wait once the job is done. My windows are the cleanest they have ever been!

Young local entrepreneur is passionate about his business and it shows! Holland responded timely to initial emails, explained his cleaning process in detail, showed-up for the on-site estimate on time (including a reminder call), and offered a very competitive bid. His attire, demeanor and vehicle are very professional. Our bungalow home - with slightly steep pitch - took about four hours to clean from start to finish.

I'm so happy I found PDX clean king! I found them from the Hollywood theater where they volunteer since it's a non profit. Holland did pressure washing, moss removal and window washing and our place and it looks amazing! And he has all the licensing including for moss removal an ODA license which 90 percent of the companies on yelp don't have. Great company both quality and honesty.

Wow. Poor guy came out in the freezing Troutdale wind, got his ladder and hose out climbed up to my high roof and got to work. Only to find out one of the downspouts was just clogged, scooped out the glob and didn't charge me a thing. Guy couldn't have been nicer and seemed to know what he was doing. He talked me through what he saw up there and was very professional. Will defiantly call them for any gutter or moss problems in the future!
