Very pleased with the word done. Pond helped us fix a problem that the original installers of the roof couldn't find (another company). The whole process was smooth and efficient, from the initial inspection to the work done. The crew was polite, kept the work area clean, and even added extra bracing to the area of the roof they were working on. We are happy with the work and will use Pond again in the future.

We had an excellent experience with Pond Roofing. Their estimate was not the cheapest we got, but we went with them because they did a very thorough inspection and estimate and didn't try to upsell us. Because our roof was quite old and the decking was thinner than what is required now, we elected to replace our decking when we got our roof redone.

Communication beforehand was very clear and set expectations well. On the day of, the crew came bright and early. They got our roof done on time and cleaned up well. We've had a few folks up in our attic for various reasons and they've all commented on what a great job Pond did with our roof. We'd happily work with Pond again in the future!

Ponds came to the rescue when we had a creature enter through our roof! From my first call I felt like my situation was a top priority! The estimate was done the next day with the promise of a temporary solution until a permanent solution could be achieved! Ponds excellent communication and professionalism is the best I have seen! Although they were back logged for work they gave me a timeline and piece of mind until the work was completed. I would strongly recommend them and will use them in the future. Pond Roofing provided new windows throughout our house. From the initial estimate to final installation, we were extremely happy and impressed by the service we received. Every aspect of my interactions with Pond Roofing was exceptional. They were the only roofing contractor who gave me a bid who actually went up on the roof to determine its condition. They stayed in touch between the time of signing a contract and actually doing the work. The team who did the work was professional, on time, and did a wonderful job cleaning up.

Another Pond employee came by several days later, after wind and rain, to run a magnetic device around the house to pick up any additional stray nails that were exposed by the weather. Then they offered to come back a third time to do a walk around with me. They made it clear to me that they are available to help with any issues that might arise after the installation.

Which there haven't been, BTW. Pond Roofing charged more for the work than others who gave me quotes. I paid the extra because it was clear they deserved it, and I wasn't going to skimp on such an important house repair.

I called Pond to make an appointment for a roof replacement estimate. I bought the house not knowing when the roof was replaced last and need them to come and assess the condition. Additionally, I don't know what signs to look for in my attic. I was told Pond does not give estimates unless the roof is 25 years old (how would I know?) and if there's a leak (why would I wait?). Don't call Pond.

Pond Roofing did a great job with my full roof replacement and new gutters! They were incredibly thorough from the very first appointment to estimate the cost and provide a detailed overview of what work they recommend I get done and I really appreciated how it was done without sales pressure or forcing me to make an immediate decision when I met with their estimator. Peter T. Superb! Pond Roofing is definitely 5 star! A cascade of violent storms in late July 2021 ripped off an entire section of our roof. Water poured into our kitchen. Pond Roofing's estimator, Lonnie, braved the rain as he examined the extensive damage on the roof and fastened down a large tarp. The Pond roof repair team followed up. They were, at once, friendly, professional and decisive, tearing our numerous damaged shingles, installing anti-water/ice flashing where needed, and reshingling the roof section with tough Hickory shingles that blended in perfectly with the rest of our roof. Pond Roofing Company replaced whole new roof for my Alexandria townhouse. They were very patiently worked with my insurance company. They did great job. There was not single debris or nails left on mine and neighbors' landscaping. Services were great too. Anthony gave my Springfield rental house an estimate. I highly recommend Pond Roofing. We had a mystery leak in an upstairs bathroom window. Our favorite contractor recommended Pond. They showed up on time and Von Miller did a thorough inspection and diagnosed the problem in an exhaust vent. He caulked the vent and a couple of other potential concerns and charged us nothing for over half an hours work. We will definitely use Pond for any roofing problems and for our new roof when the time comes. Len R.

Long story short is we hired them to install a roof. They had to remove cedar shake shingles and replace them with architectural shingles. Not going to lie, we had two issues with them. One was a fluke and it we taken care of immediately the other one was damage to our deck due to the cedar shake shingle nails. (Which are really long) since the roof was installed in the winter come spring when we were power washing the deck we noticed the deep scratches in a number of the trex deck planks. Seeing as we didn't do a proper walk through at the time the roof was installed I didn't feel like it was ok to reach out to them to mention it months later.

However the office staff had contacted me to see how we liked the roof and I mentioned the problem just to let them know about it. I was completely shocked when the owner asked to come by to see it. He came over and confirmed it was done by the crew and had a guy out within a week to replace the boards. Not only was he extremely professional the company he hired was also great. So, is every job done perfectly the first? Maybe, but the fact that the owner himself came out and took ownership of an issue months later speaks volumes about the integrity of this company.

Not only did we get a new roof with them but we also upgraded our gutters and for the first time since we moved in the gutters can keep up with the worst of rains and we no longer have the sheet of water spilling over right onto our foundation. So overall I am very pleased with our transaction and this company definitely delivered above and beyond our expectations.

What we liked: -- Estimator went on the roof to check condition (guys from two other companies did not). -- Price for roofing, trim work, and gutters was very competitive and fixed (other companies sent guys who were essentially salesmen that gave different prices based on how soon we had the work done--a real turnoff). -- Roofing work was done on schedule and completed in one day.

Crew was very careful about cleanup and protected our large garden. -- Trim work took some extra coordination as we needed the gutters done at the same time as the fascia and vents. -- We had one concern about the appearance on one section of trim. Got no pushback and the rework was done to our satisfaction. -- Everyone we dealt with was courteous, respectful, and cooperative.

My OLD windows let wind blow through their seams, which actually moved papers taped to my home office walls! I had the old casement windows replaced with NEW windows by Pond Roofing/Exteriors. They did a GREAT job! Pond offered a very competitive quote, and was responsive and courteous. Plus the entire installation took only 3 hours. I called these guys about getting a leaking roof repaired. They never bothered to return my call. There are a number of other roofers in the area who want your business. These folks obviously don't.

We asked for an estimate on replacing the roof and 2 skylights; they have us an honest assessment that the roof did not need to be replaced, saving us thousands of $$$. The skylight replacement was quick, clean and very efficient, with a very reasonable price, even matched the shingles that had to be removed for the installation to the existing shingles. Great customer service.

I believe Pond Roofing is one of the best roofing contractors in the area. My home has a complicated roof that includes asphalt shingle, EDPM (rubber membrane), three engaged dormers and three engaged chimneys. I was very impressed when the President of the company came out during the start of the job and made sure my goals where well understood.
Replacing a roof system generates a lot of debris and Pond Roofing did an excellent job of cleaning up during and after the work was completed.

We've had the pleasure of dealing with Pond Roofing twice now. The first time we had a need to get some repairs done. This is often more difficult than getting a new roof done: Contractors like the big jobs, but tend to pay little attention to creating an accurate proposal for the smaller jobs. Case in point was when we'd bid out the repair job, and we didn't get proposals that matched what we needed done in repair.

In contrast, Pond Roofing sent out an appraiser who set up ladder, inspected the roof personally, and wrote up an appraisal of what needed to be done. Was it more than we'd expected? Yes. Did it get the job done right and extend the life of our roof by years? Absolutely! But more important, what deserves special mention, was that there was a complication for which they could have easily claimed "Not responsible, not related to what we did for you" Not only did they take full responsibilty, and fix the problem at a cost that undoubtedly created overrun cost for them, the president of Pond R & E, Patrick Readyhough, personally called us to make sure we were satisfied with the finished job. THAT's a Class Act Contractor!

The second time was when we're getting ready to sell our home, and considering having Pond R&E install a new roof. Dealing with Patrick is like dealing with an honesty that's become all too rare. If you're looking for the cheapest guy in town, be prepared to get what you pay for. I'd like to comment on this company's wonderful customer service. Patrick was extremely gracious in helping my daughter out for her science fair project which involved roof shingles. Her group was having a hard time securing materials, and most companies were fairly dismissive of our queries. But when I happened upon Pond Roofing, they were extremely helpful and invited us to come in.

I brought my daughter with me to their office, and Patrick took a good hour of his time to go through all of the roofing shingles, explaining each one and which types of building they were used on. He generously gave us a number of samples, wrote down descriptions of each one, and earned a future customer at the same time. Thank you so much again Patrick!

Very impressed with Pond Roofing. We have been having a 'noisy chimney' in our new home. Our main concern was water leaking, though there were no obvious signs present. We called Pond for an estimator who arrived today right on time. Anthony was very thorough, climbed up onto the roof, inspected the tiles and flashing, and looked within our walls for any signs of leak.

His conclusion - a well done roof, and no signs of leakage. What we have is likely a noisy chimney, which echos loudly into our loft. Anthony was able to explain the roof tiles and flashing in detail, tell me what to be mindful of, and did recommend a chimney specialist as I would like to dampen the sound. There was no up-charging, just frank and honest assessment based upon his roofing knowledge. Very nice folks too, from my experience with Anthony and the phone booking.

I called this company after I had a leak coming through my roof. Patrick (the owner) went out of his way on the phone to explain options and even went above and beyond to explain some of his experiences with mold (this company doesn't do mold). He also recommended other companies that could help me. Given the large storm this past weekend, he explained that it might take some time for his company to come out and look at the small leak and was kind enough to suggest a DIY check to make sure the leak was indeed repaired. This seems like a very honest company that does not try to sell you unecessary services. Would highly recommend.
