Services
Professional Roof Consultants, Inc. is an independent technical service and consulting firm. We specialize in evaluation, design, inspection, and management of roofing, flashing, waterproofing, and exterior walls. Founded in 1992, the firm is EEO certified and strives to work with varying design, budgeting, and scheduling requirements.
PRC has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the roof consulting industry. The firm was born with the premise to provide the highest and broadest level of services in the industry. Our expertise and experience has afforded us the opportunity to provide the most extensive range of roof consulting services that are available, including evaluations, management, planning, design, preparation of construction documents, quality assurance / quality control services, testing, and expert witness services related to construction dispute.
As the physical separator between the building's interior and exterior, the building envelope works with the structure's climate control systems to maintain the indoor environment's temperature. In order to build an effective building envelope, it is necessary to understand how the different components (roof, walls, and waterproofing) work together.
Because a lot of what we do pertains to understanding how and where problems originate, PRC is especially skilled in the world of waterproofing. Waterproofing predominantly occurs at locations that are considered "below-grade", or below a level of overburden. Systems that are applied in these locations are often buried and out of sight; therefore, considered "out of mind".
