A great company focused on results and customer service. As a former Licensed Home Improvement Contractor and a Licensed Construction Supervisor in the state of Massachusetts, I was totally impressed when I watched them strip and recover my neighbors roof this summer. They protected the property from incurring any damage throughout the entire process by covering the exterior with plywood and promptly cleaning up.

The workmanship is first rate with a keen eye for detail. They are efficient without being driven by speed as the primary goal. They also replaced a skylight and gutters on my house with the same professional results. As if all this isn't enough - they left my yard cleaner after the job then it was prior to starting the job. Highly recommend Russo Roofing!

Excellent, honest, hardworking. They were willing to just fix the small problem on my roof for a reasonable price and did not at all pressure me into anything I didn't need. Previously, another company quoted me 6 times as much for the same job and tried to pressure me into buying an entire new roof I don't yet need at an exorbitant interest rate. We are small local landlords in New Haven and we've used Russo several times on rental properties we own. They've never failed to provide the best service. All the work they've done has lasted many years including difficult skylight installations which have never leaked. Recently we used their services to replace the roof of our own residence --the main roof, the roof of an adjoining addition and the garden shed roof.

All the work was completed in a day and they left the grounds cleaner than they found them! Today it rained heavily here and we are happy to be completely dry inside our house. Highly recommended.

This company took my money to repair a hole caused by a branch in my roof. A few months later the roof started leaking. All of a sudden they tell me the pitch isn't steep enough for shingles (which is what they used to repair the hole) & I needed rolled roofing material. The roof was 10 yrs old & had never leaked! They quoted me a price for a new roof which was $100 less than another company even though they told me they were "giving me a break" because I already paid to have the hole repaired.

Then the owner lies to me & tells me his men told him the shingles didn't have any underlayment & that was probably causing the problem even though the leak was in the same spot as the original hole. Long story short I found another great roofing company who put in a whole new roof for $500 less than their "break" price & when they pulled the old shingles off low & behold there was underlayment on the whole roof!

Exceptional, reliable group of roofers. They show up exactly when they say they will, and their workmanship is really tight and professional, without exception. The team gets the job done right. Very professional.

These guys did a great job. Despite bad weather and other adversities they came through with flying colors. Great crew office. Highly recommend. Did I mention a GREAT PRICE? It was a pleasure. Going to use them again.

We have had multiple leaks in our roof since installed by Russo approx. 12 years ago on a roof shingle that was described as having a 40 year life. They were quite unresponsive upon my initial complaint about a leak a few years after the roof installation. As a result, we've moved on to deal with other more responsive roofing contractors in the area.

And since the original complaint/leak, we've had many more roof leaks that were addressed by other roofing companies because we will no longer be doing business with Russo Roofing. How bad was the leak situation? We just had our entire roof replaced using another CT roof contractor after only having the roof for 12 years. In our contract with Russo, we chose to purchase the more expensive "40 year GAF Timberline Architectural Shingles" hoping it would add to the longevity of the installation. Unfortunately, our experience was just the opposite--nobody should be put in a situation to have to replace a new roof 12 years later.

The installation we just completed confirmed what we suspected from the start given the number of leaks we experienced; that some oversights in craftsmanship were likely at the root of our leaking problem. This was something Russo refused to acknowledge from the start of our conversations about the leaks. Without a doubt, the most puzzling contractor interactions of our lives given Russo's longstanding time in business in CT.
