Have been a customer for years. When we needed a dependable roofing company this our 1st choice. Great to work with, dependable, trustworthy and pricing is great. Have had to have them out for insurance claim and minor work. everytime they have been great to work with. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Absolute garbage! We Purchased a home with a 50 year roof put on by this company. After multiple opinions, including the rep for the product used. Everyone said it was the worst job they have seen. Having it removed today and, it actually caused damage to our siding as well. BEWARE of this company. They are unethical and don't know how to do the right thing.

We purchased a house that had a "50 year" metal roof installed by this company, and immediately found out it leaks in multiple spots. We asked them to come take a look at it and give us their thoughts. After looking at it, they literally told us there was nothing they would do- that we should call someone else. Sonny Roofing literally walked away from their work.

I should also note, they refuse to talk to us, and claim they have an attorney, but no one will call us back, not even their, "attorney." Naturally, we called the local representative of the manufacturer of the roof they installed, who came out to examine himself. A memorable quote from him was, "Not only did they not know what they were doing, they just didn't give a damn!" On top of that, his professional recommendation was to literally remove the roof and put a brand new one on.

He said he would talk to the owner, directly. No one at the company ever was willing to have a conversation with the rep. They're stonewalling. We had two other opinions, from two other local roofing companies. Both stated the roof needs to be removed and entirely replaced. One professional said they improperly installed flashing, which is allowing water inside the roof, they flashed the sky lights incorrectly, and improperly drove the nails into the roof, thereby exacerbating the leaking.

He also noted that the roofers used different colored tiles in places of the roof where it's not very noticeable. When you get roofing quotes, feel free to show the other roofing companies these photos, and ask them to explain why you should hire another, more proficient, honest and reputable company.

AVOID Total garbage. Came to install a durolast roof on my home 5 years ago it went bad on me a month after the 5 year labor warranty multiple contractors have been to look stating that the flashing is coming loose in multiple areas. The material under the roof was not replaced as quoted there was no pitch added as quoted there is massive puddling and leaking AVOID i have been in contact with them for a solid month with everyone at sunny roofing dragging their feet on going out to see what the problem is and what they plan to do about it. I cant wait months to fix the roof on my home as the drywall repairs etc become more expensive every day AVOID

Sunny Roofing installed our roof and gutters in 2012 after a hail storm. Our project involved removing and replacing solar panels as well. 3 years after the roof was installed, we had water leaking through a light fixture. We contacted Sunny Roofing who promptly deployed their crew. They did a temporary patch and confirmed that it was related to the re installation of the solar panels.

When reinstalled, there was a hole from the original panel brackets that Solar City had not patched. Their service was excellent and their 5-year labor warranty on service covered their visit. Six months later, we are selling our house. While the roof passed inspection 3.5 years ago, the buyer's inspector requested some modifications to the flashing. Knowing these requests were a condition of our sale, Sunny Roofing again deployed their crew and they made the changes at no cost. They really go the extra mile! I would not hesitate to hire them or refer them. Thanks so much!

I'm not sure what happened with the previous reviewers roofing experience, but I find Sunny Roofing a pleasure to do business with and they really seem to stand by their products and service. They have been in business for over 30 years now, that tells me they are doing something right to last that long. Keep up the good work guys!

Can I give them 0 stars? Sunny Roofing fixed & certified my roof 1 year ago. About a month later it started leaking. It has leaked 4 times over the year. They came out and fixed it and assured me that they stood by their work. That is until the leaking causing ceiling damage, mold damage, and the need for a whole new roof. They now say that they are not responsible for the damage or a new roof. Their incompetence has cost me $40,000 that they refuse to take responsibility for.

Stay away! They are just terrible. The roof leaked on the very first rain storm. They said - 'not our problem'. We paid another company $1,200- to fix it.
