We are really happy with our Owens Corning Duration Shingle roof installation and have received many compliments from our neighbors. Peter is very responsive and communicative. He and his crew went above and beyond to do the job right and they left our property in great shape, cleaning up all the roofing debris. I appreciate that Peter doesn't try to sell you more products. Instead, he has your best interest in mind, as the client. For example, we were considering replacing our gutters because we wanted to change the color.

I started roofing in the summer of 1982, my neighbor in Algonquin, IL owned his own roofing company and asked if I wanted a job. I worked for him until graduating high school. They left our yard spotless and even scanned it for stray nails so we could feel safe when letting our Labrador out to do his duty! We chose Svaras Roofing, Inc. to replace our 24 year old original Roof, skylight, and Gutters for their craftsmanship and service. Peter and his highly skilled Team have been roofers for a long time. They use top quality Owens Corning materials and know what to do and how to do it. They covered our plants and bushes and kept the grounds clear of the deconstruction materials and the dreaded nails through the day-and-one-half process.
They even finished the job up on the 2nd day in a few hours of heavy rain. New special color gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards were installed the following week between rainy days. All-in-all, Svaras did a fantastic job at an excellent value. We could have spent more or less but there was no need to overpay or gamble on saving a few bucks. The work comes with a 10 year warranty on labor and material, and a total of 25 years on the OC materials. It's been almost 4 months since Pete and his crew did our roof and so far everything has been great, no leaks or loose shingles. Pete remained true to his original quote which was fair. There were no surprises or additional cost. His crew left the work site clean and no landscape was distributed. I would highly recommend this contractor.
