Mr. Hernandez was professional and knowledgeable. His crew was polite and hard working. They gave their honest suggestions to our skylight problem and replaced them without a hitch. I called a few other companies for quotes before this one but I'm glad they responded! It's hard to find people to actually follow through but this company did that and more.

I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could! Their quote was accurate to the penny, they showed up quickly and did great work. They cleaned up everything despite nearly 30mph winds that day. Called them yesterday afternoon and sent pictures for a roof repair. Came out that day and completed the work in a little over an hour. Had to outsource the shingles for my roof. They did so from Raleigh and finished the install today. Very helpful and professional. I also got to keep the shingles for future use. Would recommend 50 North for roofing.

Our roof needed replaced We had called several roofing companies and got no response from most of them, and the ones we did get a response from were very unprofessional. We called 50 North Roofing Company and got in touch with Luis Hernandez. His response was very quick. Luis came out and looked at our roof and pointed out some problem areas. He gave us an estimate on a total roof replacement which was very reasonable.

His guys showed up they did what Luis and I talked about. they did an excellent job and were very thorough. they cleaned up COMPLETEY. The work was excellent, the roof looked beautiful. We have no leaks now. Luis came out to double check the work that was done, and to make sure we were happy with the job. I can't say enough about this company. Very good company to do business with. they do what they say they are going to do. And Luis and his crew were very professional. And was a pleasure to do business with. Luis and his crew did a phenomenal job from selling me the roof to the installation process. He walked me through some areas that had some rotted wood down at the beach that needed to be replaced. Without his tremendous knowledge in Metal Roofing, we would be drowned away with the leaks from our old roof. Thanks Luis and 50 North for all your help in giving me a lifetime roof!

Luis and his employees did a wonderful job on replacing our roof, skylights, and vents. They were always on time, professional, courteous, and very careful covering our home so nothing was damaged by tearing off the old roof. They also cleaned up at the end of each day. Luis and his team did a fantastic job. They work intensely from start to finish to get the job done and from all appearances, do outstanding work! (Based on past experiences I'll be checking carefully at least for a little while after our heavy driving rains.) I wish they had been recommended long ago so I could have avoided some unnecessary expenses with lower quality work! Luis is responsive and thoughtful in the promises he makes.

Fantastic team! So much attention to details, cleanup, courtesy and quality. We called 50 North after Izzy and a friend's recommendation, were very impressed with the genuine help & very good price for a complete new shingle roof and a metal roof on our front porch. The old shingles were removed & new ones up in a day, all hand nailed because nail guns can weaken shingles.

The metal was built from scratch, had a few hips and needed lots of small cuts. All done with precision and completed in a few days. Obert & Scott are Metal Magicians. The roofs were installed using hurricane standards without the premium price. It's beautiful and guaranteed

Luis and his team of professionals recently replaced the roof on our home and detached studio in Carrboro, NC. The main house roof is a combination of intersecting gables, valleys and flat sections meaning it requires a team that knows what they are doing (flat roofing systems are also not very common in residential application in our area, not everyone that says they can do it really means it). Luis and his team had to figure out the best way to create positive slope and drainage on the flat sections using tapered insulation and TPO as the new surface material.

They have done an amazing job, have created a functional system up there that drains water as it should have all along, and were thoughtful and intentional in their execution every step of the way. They also went above and beyond in the replacing the old flashing on the main chimney. They first installed stepped flashing but decided it needed another layer over the top to cover up the damage exposed / created from the previous work and repairs done over the years.

They could have just left it and saved some time, but they did what they felt was right and quality rather than what was quick and easy. My better half and I own a real estate brokerage firm in Carrboro that serves The Triangle region of NC. We have worked with a lot of roofers and other contractors in our time. Any vendor recommendations we give out to clients or friends are earned with honesty and integrity.
