General Roofing Company was established by my grandfather, Jacob Wakerling nearly 100 years ago. He firmly believed in three principles; Craftsmanship, Integrity and Reliability. Those standards found to be so important then are what enables us to continue to serve our customers successfully. Four generations of our family have participated in building a company to be proud of.

Mike Wakerling is the owner of General Roofing Company with more than 45 years in the industry. He started his career working with his father at the age of 18 as an apprentice roofer. Shane Wakerling is the Vice President and General Manager at General Roofing Company. He graduated from California Polytechnic State San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor's Degree in business.
