PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride Commercial Roofing Systems) has a proven track record that is longer than any other thermoplastic (heat welded single-ply) roofing system available. The fastest-growing application in the commercial roofing market is the heat welded single-ply roofing systems. PVC is a thermoplastic membrane that is flexible to the changes in weather and the expansion / contraction that roof systems endure. The membrane can be reinforced and ranges in thickness from 45-120 mils (thousandths of an inch).

Thermoplastic roof membranes are materials that have chemical and physical properties that allow them to soften when heated and harden when cooled repeatedly. Due to their nature, thermoplastic membrane sheets are seamed with hot air welding. Two common categories of thermoplastic membrane sheets include Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).
