I contacted Richard based on the reviews here to fix an issue left by a previous contractor on my porch roof. I had a leak that I couldn't trace after months of effort. Richard responded and came out the same day to inspect the area, and had his crew on site in just a couple of days to fix the issue. Communication was excellent and pricing was fair. I fully recommend Richard and HopeStar roofing for any roofing needs.

JD and his crew performed an inspection of my fireplace chimney and boiler room chimney, they found i needed the caps repaired and some mortar repaired. Very professional in all stages of my needed repairs. Always on time or early and kept me up to speed on all they found and the progress of the needed repairs. They did a great job and would recommend them to anyone needing work on a chimney.

WOW! Impeccable customer service does still exist. My brand new roof is far more beautiful than I expected. Everything was done in a very timely manner and they left everything very clean. The owner was so kind and he reassured me about the experience of his crew, and he was right. They went above and beyond to attend to extra surprise problems they found on the roof. From our first call, until the follow up call, Hopestar Roofing LLC did the job, did it well, and were professionals who exceeded all my expectations. My initial call was returned within minutes! Richard went to my house and provided me an estimate in less than 24- hours! We discussed the pros and cons of a new roof vs a repair. Richard was available for a full re-roofing job within a couple days but kindly waited a few days until I was off work, as I have a home based business. Richard explained why insurance couldn't cover the project. He never talked down to me as a woman. He provided options and patiently answered my many questions. His team came early and worked amazingly hard for quick completion. My gutters were cleaned, my pool protected, and my new roof installed perfectly! The clean up job was amazing! You couldn't tell that the day before my roof was stripped and then replaced! Richard and his team made this one of the easiest and best projects I've ever had a a home owner! All this, at a reasonable price! I'd definitely use Richard and Hopestar again if needed. I also highly recommend Hopestar! Thank you Richard!

I highly recommend Hopestar Roofing and owner Richard Kerr with his crew! Outstanding work, really!. I had to repair both trims on my 28' high chimney. They replaced both trims 2x6 after they placed some house wrap along the height and all with a perfect clearance between trim and siding J Hardie that they had to cut and adjust to fit the trims perfectly for final Caulking. They went beyond what was expected by correcting what was the cause of the initial leak, e.g and deterioration of the trims: some siding were too long compared to others: The result was simply great and fairly priced!.

Richard is an extremely great man to work with, very understanding and willing to go above and beyond for the customer. It was pretty much a no brainer from the first call that this was the company to go with in order to get the job done right, and from the beginning the professionalism in helping get the project moving, to the punctuality and attention to detail in completing to job to the highest standards was an unreal experience, I would HIGHLY Recommend hopestar to those of you who not only want a beautiful new roof but a delightful experience as well this company sets the standard and delivers. It was a true breath of fresh air in an industry polluted with thieves trying to rip you off and do as little as possible to see theres at least some good and honest people left that truly want to help you see your vision become a reality+

After getting harassed and overpriced by so many roofing companies, I was expecting the same from Hopestar. To my amazement, Andrew and Richard were quite different. They were very polite and informative without all the "sign now" pressure. Their prices are reasonable, they worked with my schedule and were a pleasure to deal with. The roof? They did my home and my storage building. The work quality is top notch. Both were finished in one day! They even cleaned out my gutters!!! Not a nail in sight! I highly recommend them and will be sending anyone that asks about my gorgeous new roof their way! 10/10

I normally dont do business reviews, but the customer service is outstanding at Hope Star Roofing. Being a single female, I felt respected, safe, and my opinion mattered. I wasnt familiar with the process, and Richard took his time to help me feel comfortable.
Richard and his crew were prompt, fair, and did a wonderful job fixing the damage from a recent storm. Richard kept me informed the entire time of each step of the process and even handled all of the insurance claim information for me. Its nice to be able to sit back and trust a company to do what they say they are going to do AND exceed your expectations.
