Mike was born and raised in Anne Arundel County and has been working trades since he was a teenager. He spent over 20 years on commercial sites in DC and Baltimore before turning the residential side into a full-time business in 2006. He walks every estimate personally and runs material orders himself. If your roof has a question on it, Mike has probably already climbed it.
Tyler Heward
Co-Owner & Project Lead
Tyler grew up on Heward job sites. He was handing his dad shingles before he was tall enough to reach the ladder, and hes been on crews in some capacity ever since. He took over day-to-day project management so Mike could focus on estimates and material quality. Tyler is the one most customers hear from after the walk-through, through scheduling, through completion.

Could not be happier. Excellent experience from start to finish. Tyler was professional, communicative, and did outstanding work replacing the windows in my home. I can't even put into words just how phenomenal Heward Home Improvement was during our kitchen renovations. Their ideas saved my dream kitchen when the oven was going to fit under my cooktop,placement of microwave, and shaving tenths of inch off cabinet for dishwasher to fit.. These guys can do anything. Theyve helped me re-do my roof, my master bathroom, my living room, kitchen and even have helped with concrete work on my driveway.

We had Heward Home Improvement do our kitchen backsplash and they did an awesome job. It completely changed the look of our kitchen and turned out even better than we expected.
