Since 1905 Ettel & Franz has been a fixture in the twin city's commercial and industrial roofing industry. Although we've never been the biggest, we've earned a reputation as one of the best. In their initial years, Ettel & Franz was known for its arty fabrication of sheet metal and copper. True to our beginnings, Ettel & Franz is an organization built on superior craftsmanship and skill. We have adapted accordingly to offer a tried and tested roofing technology. However, what has not changed is our commitment to improvise our workmanship continually.

The last century can be summed up in two words - invention and innovation. Ettel & Franz has contributed to the previous century by doing what we do best - the roofs. Having been part of the roofing industry for over 100 years, we have learned the best techniques and methods to build and maintain roofs.
First, we determine the life expectancy of the roof. We do this by inspecting the roof, looking for deterioration of base flashings, blisters, bare spots in the roof's field, and judging the roof's overall condition. We may need to take a test cut off the roof to diagnose the roofing system currently in place.
