Black Roofing & Waterproofing is a commercial and residential roofing and waterproofing company that has operated out of Boulder, Colorado since 1975. Tim Black began his roofing career in 1965 as a student at Boulder High School and continued roofing as a student at the University of Colorado to help pay his college tuition. After several years in the field, Tim started Black Roofing in 1975, catering primarily to residential customers. Over the years, Black Roofing gradually began to emphasize commercial roofing and waterproofing projects-the more complex, the better.
